I finished the baby quilt! It's my very first quilt that I did from start to finish (my first quilt top is off being quilted by a professional and friend since it was huge). There are loads of errors in it, but I am still pretty thrilled with it. It needs to be washed, then I need to get it down to San Diego, where baby Colette resides.
Hi Leigh, You posted on my blog, asking about the bargello quilt- it's from the book Bargello Hearts by Nancy Podolsky. It wasn't hard, just time consuming. I couldn't find an email addy when I clicked on your comment, but I did want to get back to you.
Hi Leigh, Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. it was very exciting to get a comment from a US blogger. In answer to your question, yes the hearts are applique using fusible paper and then machine buttonholed. I remember I did use a pattern from a book but I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it. Well done on your quilt too. Carmel
Congrats on your baby quilt. I love the quilted flowers.
